Like every cruise line, a Disney Cruise vacation includes your accommodations for the duration of the cruise fare. This includes daily service from a stateroom attendant.
Your stateroom category will determine the cost of your vacation. Concierge level and suites will be more expensive, with inside and oceanview cabins being among the cheapest on any Disney Cruise Line ship.
In addition to your cabin, the Disney Cruise Line fare covers several dining establishments. These include multiple main dining rooms. Disney Wish features three brand new rotational dining rooms. One themed after Marvel characters, a Frozen themed restaurant, and 1923 paying homage to the company’s founding.
Along with these sit-down restaurants, Disney Wish also features casual restaurants, including the Mickey and Friends Festival of Friends, an outdoor dining venue featuring pizza, Tex-Mex, BBQ, and a grill. Some of our favorites included Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue and Donald’s Cantina.
Unlike other cruise lines, you do not have to pay extra for soft drinks on Disney Cruise Line. A wide range of soft drinks, coffee and tea, lemonade, and juices are complimentary on Disney Wish and all the other cruise ships in the fleet.
Other onboard activities and entertainment are all covered in your Disney Wish cruise fare too. This includes a variety of activities for families. There are first run Disney movies, arts and crafts, trivia, and competitions. Not to mention, there is the brand new AquaMouse water attraction on Disney Wish, the new Toy Story Splash Zone, the most family pools on any Disney cruise ship, and the adult-only Quiet Cove.
Further, the kids programming in the Disney’s Oceaneer Club is included in your Disney Wish cruise fare. These themed play areas might just be the coolest spots on the ship, especially the Star Wars Cargo Bay area.
At night, Disney Wish comes alive with live music in the bars and lounges, parties like the pool deck Pirate Party and a Silent Disco, and special light shows on the chandelier in the Grand Hall.
The theater on Disney Wish offers signature entertainment as well including the Seas the Adventure welcome aboard show, the Little Mermaid, and a re-imagined musical comedy of Aladdin.
—-WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED ON DISNEY WISH—-
However, not everything is covered in the Disney Wish cruise fare.
For starters, there are adult-only specialty restaurants. These dining venues are an up-charge. When compared to other cruise lines, Palo Steakhouse and Enchante are actually quite pricey.
In addition, WiFi is also not part of the cruise fare and is priced higher than most contemporary cruise lines as well.
As one would expect, alcoholic beverages are not included in Disney Cruise fares either. So, drinks at the Bayou or the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge on Disney Wish will cost extra. Further, DCL does not offer a beverage package. So, you’ll need to keep an eye on your bar tab!
Premium drinks, like specialty coffee, spa treatments, the thermal suite, and other add-ons will cost extra on Disney Wish too.
